Ambedo Act – ‘Fake News’

The song “Fake News” by Ambedo Act is a protest against the destructive wars and manipulations that deprive people of their freedom and will. The band speaks of generations victimized by senseless conflicts, lands unjustly seized, and young men forced to kill each other. The lyrics express a strong protest against the powers that send people to fight for goals unrelated to their true needs, and how this resistance gradually wanes. The song includes a powerful excerpt from a speech by U.S. President Truman about the atomic bomb explosion, a symbol of ultimate destruction that threatened all of humanity. Musically, this piece is heavier than the band’s previous works, adding to its strength and intensity.

Ambedo Act, a four-piece band from Riga, draws inspiration from surrounding events, impressions, and other resonances, as suggested by the meaning of the word “Ambedo.” Their noble and unattainable goal is to achieve balance with themselves and their environment. As they strive towards this goal, they create music that can best be described as melancholic, absurd, ironic, new tide progressive rock. Ambedo Act is on Tunedloud Hit Radio Rotation with the track “Fake News”.
